Nine-man Racing sees off Colon Santa Fe

Racing Club kept up their battle for second place in the Argentinian Apertura despite finishing with nine men against Colon Santa Fe.
Racing won 2-0, with Claudio Yacob volleying them in front from 16 yards in the 31st minute before Valentin Viola doubled the lead after 57 minutes with a fierce shot across goalkeeper Diego Pozo.
Colon Santa Fe were the first team to lose a man, with striker Ernesto Chevanton dismissed after 64 minutes, but Racing then had Yacob sent off in the 78th minute and Matias Martinez followed him six minutes later.
The victory lifted Racing to second, one point ahead of Tigre who have a game in hand.

Boca Juniors can clinch the title on Sunday by avoiding defeat against the league's bottom team Banfield.

Between the goals, Velez were reduced to nine men by red cards for Sebastian Dominguez and Emiliano Papa.
Lanus and Olimpo drew 0-0, while San Martin San Juan were 2-0 victors on home turf against Union Santa Fe, Sebastian Penco opening the scoring in the 44th minute and Mauro Bogado adding a second after 58 minutes.
