Morsy rejects Vale deal
Birmingham defender Paul Robinson has signed a new one-year contract with the Championship club.
The 34-year-old's new deal also has the option of a further year at St Andrews.
Robinson was initially signed by Blues manager Lee Clark last September on a month-to-month basis in order to provide defensive cover across the back four.
However he produced some impressive performances for City which were rewarded with a contract until the end of last season and that has now been extended.
Robinson, who has previously played for Watford, West Brom, Bolton and Leeds, has made a total of 37 appearances for Birmingham so far.
Morsy was offered an improved two-year deal at the end of the season but he has opted not to sign it.
As he is under the age of 24, any club Morsy signs for will have to agree a compensation package with the Valiants.
Meanwhile, Liam Chilvers has agreed a new contract and the centre-half will put pen to paper before the players return for pre-season training later this month.
Manager Micky Adams continues to negotiate with captain Doug Loft, who was also offered a new deal at the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
