Palencia scored in the 10th and 19th minutes before setting up Dante Lopez's goal in the 44th.
''This team wants to keep winning,'' Palencia said. ''We have the talent and the right attitude.''

Queretaro stayed on 15 points and was eliminated from contention. Most teams have two matches left to play in the regular season.
In other matches Sunday, Angel Reyna scored twice as America rallied for a 3-1 win over Guadalajara Estudiantes.
After Osvaldo Alanis put Estudiantes ahead in the 40th minute, Diego Reyes got the equalizer in the 49th and Reyna added goals in the 59th and 85th for America.
The Eagles have 22 points and are second place in Group 2.
The 18 teams in the Mexican Primera Division are split into three groups. The top two in each section pass to the playoffs, with the best two teams in the general table that do not qualify directly from the groups also progressing.
