Lionel Messi looks set to return from an ankle injury for
Wednesday's Club World Cup semifinal against Mexican club Atlante.
Assistant coach Tito Vilanova says Messi could be on the
bench and "make an effort if necessary" after the Argentina forward
felt fine following Tuesday's training session.
Midfielder Seydou Keita, meanwhile, remains a game-time
decision.
Messi injured his right ankle a week ago and subsequently
missed Saturday's victory over Espanyol.
Estudiantes awaits in Saturday's final, which Barcelona is
hoping to reach and achieve a historic sweep of six major trophies
following Champions League, Spanish league, Copa del Rey, European
Supercup and Spanish Supercup triumphs.
