Manchester United winger Nani completes move to Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce have announced the signing of Nani from Manchester United.
The Portugal international arrived in Turkey to undergo a medical on Sunday with a view to finalizing a deal after the Super Lig side had agreed a fee with the Red Devils.
"I'm very happy for being here," Nani told Fenerbahce's official website upon arrival. "I think that there is a big chance to prove myself again. I'll try to do my best to make Fenerbahce fans happy. I hope everything goes well.
"I know Fenerbahce very well. The club's aims have always been high and playing with [Raul] Meireles and Bruno Alves will be exciting. With their help, I'll feel like I'm with my family. I want to be successful with my new team-mates."
Nani joined United in a £17.5 million deal from Sporting in the summer of 2007 but despite winning four Premier League titles, a Champions League and League Cup, he was rarely a key figure at Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan back at Sporting as part of the deal that took Marcos Rojo to United, notching 11 goals and two assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants.
