Manchester United will play two matches in South Africa next month.
David Gill, the club chief executive, says on Wednesday that United will play AmaZulu in Durban on July 18 followed by Ajax Cape Town in Cape Town three days later.
It's the English Premier League club's first trip to South Africa since its first visit in 2008. Gill says the training camp and the matches will be ''an important part of our preparations'' for next season.
United finished second in the EPL last season.
