Liverpool interested in Leverkusen striker Son, says agent
Liverpool are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen forward Son Heung-Min this summer, according to the South Korean player's agent.
The 22-year-old has been in excellent form for the Bundesliga high-flyers this season and is the club's joint-top scorer with 11 goals, level with Karim Bellarabi.
Son's strong form has seen him linked with a move to Anfield, as well as several other Premier League clubs, though the former Hamburg star would reportedly cost at least £15million ($22.66m).
And the Leverkusen man's agent has now confirmed that Liverpool have been regular visitors to the BayArena to watch Son and are primed to make a move.
"I know Liverpool have scouted him several times this season and would like to have him in their team," agent Thies Bliemeister told Bild.
Son's contract is believed to include an annual release clause, which would reactivate this summer, while Leverkusen are already thought to be lining up Hoffenheim's Kevin Volland as a potential replacement.
