KNOCKOUT STAGE BERTHS AT STAKE DURING FOX SOCCER CHANNEL'S COVERAGE OF UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDA

A pair of knockout stage berths will be on the line as Fox Soccer Channel brings viewers live coverage of UEFA Champions League Matchday 6.
VfL Wolfsburg, Inter Milan and FC Rubin Kazan will all be fighting to advance when the world's most prestigious club soccer competition reaches its final round of group stage play on Dec. 8 and 9. Fox Soccer Channel's coverage begins next Tuesday with the live 30-minute UEFA Champions League Pregame at 2 p.m. ET - simulcast on FSN - featuring a preview of all the day's matches from host Max Bretos and analysts Warren Barton and Bobby McMahon.
That leads into an all-important Group B showdown between reigning German Bundesliga champion Wolfsburg and English powerhouse Manchester United. While United has already punched its ticket to the next round, Wolfsburg needs a win to ensure a place in the knockout stage.
On Wednesday, Dec. 9, Fox Soccer Channel features arguably the most intriguing contest of Matchday 6, as Italy's Inter Milan hosts Rubin Kazan of Russia at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The winner will advance to the knockout stage and the loser will be eliminated from the competition. A draw could prove disastrous for both clubs, pending the outcome of the other Group F showdown between Dynamo Kiev and FC Barcelona. This high-stakes battle between Inter and Rubin Kazan is also preceded by UEFA Champions League Pregame at 2 p.m. ET.
