Sheffield United striker Dave Kitson faces up to three weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The 32-year-old suffered the problem in training on Sunday and missed Monday night's 1-0 win over his former club Portsmouth.
Blades boss Danny Wilson confirmed it is a grade one tear of the muscle and that Kitson will be unavailable for several weeks.
"He did is hamstring right at the death of the training session, which is a real blow," Wilson said.
"We think it will be two to three weeks.
"This is when you hope that your squad steps up to the plate, but I hope there aren't too many more injuries around the corner."
