It was reported over the weekend that Keinan had been offered a two-year contract following a recent trial with the Seasiders. Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston subsequently confirmed a deal is in the pipeline subject to the Israel defender securing a work permit. He will be put through a medical within the next 24 hours and is likely to become manager Ian Holloway's first summer signing. The centre-back is regarded as one of the finest defenders in his country and will hope to be a starter in Holloway's plans for their first Premier League campaign next season. Keinan will move to England three years after his decision not to join Bolton following an impressive European Under 21 Championship for the national team. "This will be a marvellous opportunity for me," said Keinan.
