Kean monitors Rovers contracts

Kean travelled out to Pune during the international break for his monthly meeting with the club's owners Venky's and revealed the subject contract extensions was on the agenda. While he did not confirm any names, the likes of Paul Robinson, Gael Givet, David Dunn and Jason Roberts are all coming to the end of their deals with Rovers. When asked about his trip to India, Kean said: "It's just really to start discussing the contract lengths of the lads who don't have too long left on their contract. "It's just getting ourselves in a position where we can really come back and the lads I identify with the owners who should have extensions, I think we can get that started so we don't find ourselves in a situation where people's contracts are running out."
