Kashima beats Sydney in Asian Champions League

Kashima Antlers of Japan beat Sydney FC 3-0 to post its first win in Group H of the Asian Champions League on Wednesday.
Midfielder Takuya Nozawa scored the opener three minutes before halftime and set up the second for Brazilian Fellyppe Gabriel 10 minutes later. Shinzo Koroki sealed the match in the 90th.
The win lifted Kashima to five points from three games, level with group leaders Suwon Bluewings of South Korea. Sydney drew matches against Suwon and Shanghai Shenhua and have two points from three games, with its next three games away from home.
Kashima's win followed Tuesday's 4-0 win by J-League champions Nagoya Grampus over Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates.
