The Holland international, a member of his country's squad at Euro 2008, hoped his move to the Premier League club last summer would improve his chances of going to this summer's tournament in South Africa. However, the 31-year-old has struggled to win a regular place for the Tigers, making just one start in the last 10 games in all competitions. But the former Celtic forward said: "Let's focus first on what is at Hull and all the things that come later are a bonus. "I have not been selected for a long period but I am not thinking about that now. I just want to perform with Hull and anything that comes after that is a bonus."
