Italy coach Marcello Lippi has indicated he will step down again
after the World Cup in South Africa.
Lippi said that Italian football federation president
Giancarlo Abete "already knows what I will do after the World Cup."
Lippi has been linked with a return to the club he formerly
coached, Juventus, in a managerial position.
The Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday was already considering
Lippi's possible replacement, with Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti
and Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri topping the list.
Lippi already resigned after leading Italy to the 2006 World
Cup title, then returned two years later.
