Ipswich have been given permission by Blackburn to extend Bradley Orr's loan deal until the end of the season.

The defender has made 10 appearances for the Tractor Boys since arriving from Rovers in November.

His three-month stay was due to finish at the end of the month but Town boss Mick McCarthy has revealed the clubs have come to an agreement on an extension.

"We've spoken to Blackburn and they've said we can keep Bradley until the end of the season," McCarthy told the club's official website.

"He's brought us some experience and I think he's got better and better with each game."

The right-back made 24 appearances for Rovers after joining last January but he fell out of favour under former boss Henning Berg in October.
