Houllier eyes Young boost

The England star - who has been persistently linked with Harry Redknapp's side - currently has a knee problem. But Houllier expects the 25-year-old to be fit enough to play some part in the Villa Park clash as his side look to build on the morale-boosting win over West Brom last time. The Villa boss told the Daily Mirror: "It's a medial ligament, grade one strain. "Ashley should be OK for Tottenham, or at least he should be available." The French tactician also believes midfield pair Stiliyan Petrov and Steve Sidwell should return soon, while teenager Fabian Delph is back in training after being out of action for eight months with cruciate ligament damage. Houllier added: "The three positive signs are that Fabian, Stiliyan and Steve all took part in some training. "Fabian trained with us a couple of times last week. "Stiliyan is not ready but within two weeks he could be competitive again. "Steve is coming back. He should be OK very soon. "They didn't do €everything but they took part, which is between rehabilitation and getting into full training. They are not far away. "We've had a lot of injuries and sickness, so it has not been easy."
