Hoffenheim has signed Peru defender Luis Advincula from Peruvian side Sporting Cristal.
The Bundesliga club says the 22-year-old Advincula has signed a deal to summer 2016.
He is due to travel with his new teammates to Hoffenheim's week-long training camp in Portugal on Sunday.
Hoffenheim has the worst defense in the Bundesliga with 41 goals conceded. The club is in the relegation playoff place at the halfway stage of the season after just three wins from 17 games.

Advincula has made 20 appearances for Peru.
