Hitzfeld opts for young Swiss squad vs. Bulgaria

Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has named a young and inexperienced squad for a 2012 European Championship qualifying match against Bulgaria.
Hitzfeld's 22-player roster includes three teenagers, and eight players who have played no more than two international matches. Backup goalkeeper Marco Woelfli, who turned 29 last week, is the oldest player.
Switzerland hosts Bulgaria at Basel on Sept. 6. Both currently trail group leaders England and Montenegro by six points and could be already eliminated depending on results in the Sept. 2 round of group fixtures.
