Reuben Hazell's future at Shrewsbury is in doubt after the defender claimed he's been told he can leave the League One club.
The 33-year-old defender suffered a cruciate ligament injury last September which ruled him out for most of last season as Town went on to win promotion from League Two.
A fully-fit Hazell made his first appearance in a year when he lined up against Stevenage last month but he has since managed just a further two starts this term.
Asked on twitter about his current situation at Shrewsbury, Hazell replied: "I'm still their (sic) but not for long been told I can leave."
Shrewsbury have made no official comment on the matter.
