Harry still eyeing Cahill move
The England international could be a target for the North London club in January after Spurs failed to land him on the final day of the last transfer window. And as the Trotters are unlikely to want Cahill to run down his contract and leave for nothing in the summer, manager Owen Coyle has a tough decision to make. Serie A giants Inter Milan are the latest club reported to have joined Spurs and Chelsea in the race to sign Cahill, but Redknapp remains confident he will get his man. "We were dead keen in the last window but couldn't quite get there," he told the Daily Express. "But he's out of contract in the summer and I'm sure plenty of people will want him again. "I think he'll be a great signing for anyone. He's young, a good sort with a good character and that is so important. "I tell that to the chairman here. You can go out and buy superstar players, but you need the Scott Parkers, the good lads who come in every day and get on with it and want to be here. "They are worth their weight in gold. It's not all about having players with massive egos - if they want to do it, they want to do it. Gary Cahill is that type of good lad." Meanwhile, Coyle claims he is unaware of any interest from Inter. "I've heard a lot of voices down the phone, but none of them Italian," he said. But he admits Claudio Ranieri would see Cahill as a perfect player for the Italian game, adding: "Gary is a player who is suited to it. "He is a footballing centre-half, pace to burn, terrific timing in the air, feet that belong to a centre forward and can pass the ball. "The way they build up through the middle via the centre-backs and midfielders is a style he is very comfortable with. "Regardless of whether it was at home or abroad, I think it's fair to say he can play for any of the top teams."
