
Hamburg fires coach Thorsten Fink after bad start

Hamburg fired coach Thorsten Fink following a disappointing start in the Bundesliga.
Hamburg chairman Carl Jarchow announced the club's decision on Tuesday, saying the 45-year-old Fink was informed late Monday.
The club's sporting director, Oliver Kreuzer, said Rodolfo Esteban Cardoso will take over on an interim basis for the second time, assisted by Hamburg youth team coach Otto Addo, a former player.
Fink's side was routed 6-2 by Borussia Dortmund on Saturday following a 5-1 home defea to Hoffenheim earlier this season. Hamburg. Hamburg has four points in five games and has allowed 15 goals.
