Reported Arsenal and Tottenham target Gervinho will announce a decision regarding his future at Ligue 1 champions Lille in June.

Along with Real Madrid's Karim Benzema, the 23-year-old tricky forward is understood to be at the top of Emirates Stadium boss Arsene Wenger's list of summer targets, while Spurs gaffer Harry Redknapp is believed to have watched the in-demand frontman.

Liverpool and Newcastle are also reported to be interested in Gervinho, but the Ivory Coast international wants to play in the Champions League next season - putting Arsenal at the front of the queue.

He has just one year left on his contract and he will reveal his future plans once this Sunday's conclusion to the French domestic season and an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on June 5 are out of the way.

"After the last match and a match with Ivory Coast, I will go for holidays," Gervinho told L'Equipe.

"I have already made my choice. Either I will leave or not, everyone will know it later. It is a personal choice.

"The coach wants me to stay. The club will play in the Champions League and he wants to play it with me. I want to play it too, if I have such an opportunity.

"But I can play it at Lille or somewhere else, that is no problem. We have had several talks and we know what we told ourselves. There are still a few days to talk before holidays."
