Former Inter owner Moratti still a huge fan of Blues boss Mourinho
Massimo Moratti has suggested Inter Milan would be better bringing back Jose Mourinho, rather than spending so much money on new players.
The club's former owner - now honorary president - remains a huge fan of the Chelsea coach, who served under him for two hugely successful seasons up to 2010, including the first treble in Italian history.
Speaking to Telelombardia, Moratti commented: "I often think that it would be better to take back Jose instead of buying so many players, but you have to take good sense.
"It was good he left after the treble we won together but I know that Mourinho would return willingly to Inter. Now this is not possible, maybe it will happen after [current Inter coach Walter] Mazzarri wins three championships too."
Talking about his successor, Erik Thohir, Moratti offered one suggestion.
"He's an intelligent person. Suggestions? Only one. He must surround himself with Inter fans, of people who knows what is Inter character."
