Steven Fletcher has put his international career in jeopardy by refusing a callup to Scotland's squad for next week's Nations Cup match against Northern Ireland.
Scotland manager Craig Levein says the Wolverhampton striker was initially picked for the game in Dublin on Feb. 9 but "has since indicated that he did not wish to be selected for Scotland."
Levein says "what I have found since taking this job is that I want to work with people who want to play for Scotland ... I just can't understand anyone who doesn't want to be part of what is happening."
Fletcher has played eight times for his national team.
