FIFA says its $200 million museum will now be created downtown in its home city of Zurich.

One year ago, FIFA announced the museum would be built underground next to its headquarters on a quiet hillside at the edge of the city.

FIFA says construction work has started in the Enge district and the museum is scheduled to open in April or May 2015.

Exhibits will include ''a Hall of Fame, 3D displays and interactive games as well as a collection of trophies and shirts.'' The project also includes 28 apartments.

FIFA says it has a 40-year lease on the site, which is owned by the Swiss Life insurance company.
