Mark Stimson's Gillingham side find themselves in the draw for the third round of the FA Cup after holding League One Stockport to a 0-0 draw.
Gills had the better of a scrappy first half, with Adam Miller's close-range shot which was deflected over for a corner the closest either side came.
Stephen Gleeson fired over from six yards for Stockport at the start of the second half.
There were further chances for both sides with Anthony Pilkington forcing a save from Simon Royce and Mark Bentley calling Owain fon Williams into action.
But neither side could fashion a winner with a replay to come.
