Paris Saint Germain sporting director Leonardo has accused Jean-Michel Aulas of having "an inferiority complex" as he hit back at the Lyon president's criticism of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Sweden striker sparked controversy late in the first half of PSG's 1-0 win in Sunday's meeting between the sides when he trod on Lyon defender Dejan Lovren's head.
Aulas accused him of doing so deliberately and described the incident, for which Ibrahimovic could yet face sanctions, as a "massacre".
But Leonardo said in L'Equipe: "Who is Aulas to judge? What is he doing? I do not understand, does he also work for the league's disciplinary committee?
"All he wants is to distract from his team's bad result. We dominated Lyon, especially in the second half, that is the reality.
"You could say Aulas is seeking to justify this defeat. But do you know what it shows, in my eyes? An inferiority complex."
Blaise Matuidi's goal in first-half stoppage time was the difference between the sides at the Parc des Princes.
Ibrahimovic was banned for two games earlier this season after being sent off for a high, studs-first lunge at St Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier.
Tayside Police said Charles Adam, who played for Dundee United and Partick Thistle, died on Monday in Dundee.
Mr Adam was the father of current Scotland international and Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam and Grant Adam, who is the goalkeeper for Airdrie United in the Scottish First Division.
A police statement said: "Tayside Police were called to Grampian Gardens in Dundee at 6.30pm on Monday after the death of a 50-year-old man.
"The deceased has been confirmed as former professional football player Charles Adam (senior) who played for Dundee United."
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Stoke, who play Tottenham on Saturday, issued a short statement expressing their sympathy to their midfielder and family.
"All our thoughts are with Charlie and his family at this difficult time," said the statement.
"Out of respect to the family, players and staff at the club will not be making any press comment over the Christmas period."
