Marouane Fellaini and Apostolos Vellios scored Saturday as Everton won 2-0 at 10-man Bolton to record back-to-back victories for the first time in the Premier League this season.
Bolton center back David Wheater was shown a straight red card in the 20th minute for a challenge on Diniyar Bilyaletdinov at Reebok Stadium.
It was Bilyaletdinov who provided the cross for a sliding Fellaini to prod the ball into the net in the 49th minute.
Vellios ensured Everton backed up its 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last week with another victory by scoring in the 78th after coming on as a substitute.
