Hamburger SV says Dutch winger Eljero Elia has traveled to Italy for a proposed move to Juventus.
The Bundesliga club said on Tuesday that Elia, who was with the Netherlands preparing for Friday's European Championship qualifier against San Marino, left the national team's training camp to undergo a medical in Turin.
The 24-year-old Elia has scored twice in 22 appearance for his country.
Hamburg sporting director Frank Arnesen was negotiating a fee with the Italian side.
Media reports say Hamburg turned down an offer of ?8 million ($11.6 million) two weeks ago and is holding out for ?10 million ($14.5 million).
