Edwards feels fitter than ever

The midfielder marked his fifth start of the season with a goal at the weekend as Wolves beat Wigan to record a first league victory in nine attempts. It was the latest step on a long road to recovery from the Wales international, who has battled to return from a long-term back injury. He told the club website: "Sometimes during that injury, I thought 'am I going to get back?' and 'if I do, am I going to be the same player?' "I was worried at times, so to come through it is fantastic and I thank all the staff and everyone who has helped me because it's meant a lot. "Even to play 90 minutes is great because I can't even remember the last 90 minutes I played, it's really been a long time. This is the fittest I've felt for a long time. Touch wood it stays that way."
