Donovan delays decision on move
The USA international secured a loan switch to Everton last season at the end of the MLS campaign and is expected to make a similar move this term. The Toffees would welcome the opportunity to bring him back to Goodison Park, with David Moyes greatly impressed by Donovan during his previous stint on Merseyside. The highly-rated forward, who has also taken in a spell at Bayern Munich over recent years, insists he has given little thought to his future, though, and is keen to take a well-earned break before making his next move. "Give me a few weeks and I will have an answer for you," Donovan told Sky Sports News. "Right now I'm four days into my vacation and I'm going to enjoy it. I'm going to chill and then in a few weeks I will make a decision." Donovan admits 2010 has been a fine year for him, with his exploits with Everton, at the World Cup and in helping the Galaxy to the MLS divisional play-offs helping to enhance his reputation. "Both personally and professionally I would have to say it's been the best year of my life," said the 28-year-old. "This time of year, I guess, is the time to reflect on it and realise how special this was."
