De Ridder eyeing Latics exit

De Ridder is yet to make an appearance for the Latics this season and will hope to win a move to Valenciennes, who have space in their squad for a creative player. "He is on trial for at least one week," Valenciennes chairman Francis Decourriere told L'Equipe. "He is a real winger and since the departures of Fahid Ben Khalfallah to Bordeaux and Johan Audel to Stuttgart, that is what we miss the most. "The injury to Gaetan Bong has also hurt us and left us a little short."
