Czech striker Tomas Pekhart has joined Nuremberg in the Bundesliga from Czech provincial side FK Jablonec.

Pekhart's agent, Pavel Paska, said Tuesday that the 21-year-old striker has signed a four-year-contract.

Earlier in his career, Pekhart was signed by Premier League side Tottenham when he was 16 before he moved to Jablonec last year. The year before, he spent at former club Slavia Prague on a one-year loan deal.

Before moving to Slavia, he spent six months on loan at Southampton in the second tier of English football after failing to earn a regular spot in Tottenham's first team.
