CSKA Moscow defenders Sergei Ignashevich and Alexei Berezutsky have each received a one-match ban for failing doping tests after a Champions League game.
UEFA's disciplinary committee also fined CSKA Moscow $36,000 on Thursday for failing to implement anti-doping regulations.
Ignashevich and Berezutsky tested positive for a stimulant found in a cold remedy after CSKA's 3-3 draw with Manchester United last month.
The players have already served the ban because they were provisionally suspended for CSKA's Champions League match against Turkish champion Beziktas last week.
They are clear to play in the knockout round-of-16 matches in February.
