Coyle backs United in title race

United go into Saturday's clash with in-form Wanderers at Old Trafford hampered by an extensive injury list and having lost their last two league fixtures. With nine matches to go they are only three points clear at the top of the table from Arsenal, who have a game in hand, but Coyle has no doubt that Sir Alex Ferguson's men will be crowned champions and is under no illusions about the size of Bolton's task this weekend. "We have to continue in our recent vein of form, showing the quality and togetherness that we are," said Coyle, whose team have won five of their last six matches in all competitions. "Every time we enter the field we think we have a chance of winning games and we will certainly need all that come Saturday against, for me, the champions elect and a team that as everybody knows, are purely outstanding on every front. "I believe they will (win the league). For me, Manchester United, just a little bit more than the others, have been there and they know how to win things, particularly when things might go against them in games - how to get those results. "On top of that there is the outstanding quality they have. They are a force to be reckoned with." On Wednesday, Ferguson was given a five-match touchline ban by the Football Association which the United manager has decided not to challenge and will begin with the game this weekend. It would appear to be another setback for United, but Coyle feels it will make little difference to their progress on the field. "He is the best manager in world football," Coyle said of his fellow Scot. "Regardless of whether he is on the touchline or not, he will have his team ready to give their best to try to win a game."
