In a story Jan. 11 about back surgery for Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain, The Associated Press reported erroneously, based on the team's announcement, that Dr. Richard G. Fessler was chief of the neurosurgery department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is a neurosurgeon at the hospital.
