China beats Lebanon 2-0 in Asian Cup match

Yu Hai and Qu Bo scored Saturday to give China a 2-0 victory over Lebanon in an Asian Cup qualifier.

Hai gave China the lead in the 45th minute and Bo added the second in the 72nd at the Beirut Municipal Stadium.

The game was then suspended for about 10 minutes by referee Hamad al-Badwawi because of fierce protests by Lebanese spectators after China's second goal.

Lebanon had several chances when play resumed, but failed to convert its opportunities.
