Celta Vigo says it has agreed to part ways with coach Abel Resino after barely escaping relegation to Spain's second division.
The Spanish club announced Saturday that Resino would not continue because of ''philosophical differences.''
Resino took over for the fired Paco Herrera in February. Celta avoided the drop on the final day of last season.
Resino is a former goalkeeper who has coached various Spanish clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Granada, and Valladolid.
