Manchester City have confirmed that striker Felipe Caicedo has
joined Spanish side Malaga on loan.
Out of favour at Eastlands under Mark Hughes, it appears the
Ecuadorian is not part of Roberto Mancini's plans either.
He had been farmed out by Hughes to Sporting Lisbon for the
first half of the season but now that deal is over and Caicedo has
swapped Portugal for Spain.
Caicedo, who joined City from FC Basel two years ago when
Sven-Goran Eriksson was at the helm, had attracted interest from
Premier League strugglers Hull.
However, the 21-year-old prefers to join Malaga, who are also
locked in a relegation fight in La Liga.
