Former England captain Bryan Robson has left his job as coach of Thailand's national team.
Assistant coach Steve Darby wrote in an email to The Associated Press that he and Robson had left due to ''mutual consent.''
In March, Robson revealed he had been diagnosed with throat cancer but was deemed healthy enough to continue in his duties.
The Manchester United great failed to lead Thailand to success at last year's AFF Cup, which features teams from SouthEast Asia, or secure qualification to the 2011 Asian Cup.
Robson replaced former England teammate Peter Reid in September 2009 in the job.
