First-half goals from Luke Varney and Marlon Harewood were enough to give Blackpool victory over struggling Wolverhampton.
Varney unleashed a spectacular volley past 'keeper Marcus Hahnemann to break the deadlock in the third minute on Saturday and Harwood scrambled the ball home from a corner to double the home side's lead just before the break.
Wolves carved out chances for David Jones, who sliced wide, and Kevin Doyle, while Nenad Milijas saw an effort come back off the post.
Doyle pulled a goal back with four minutes remaining from a George Elokobi cross but Wolves could not find an equalizer.
The results leaves Wolves 19th, level on nine points with bottom-place West Ham, while Blackpool is up to 10th.
