Christian Benitez scored a hat-trick as Club America maintained the pressure on Tijuana at the top of Mexico's Apertura.

While Tijuana were being held to a goalless draw at home by struggling San Luis, Club America were completing a 4-0 win over Pachuca.

Benitez opened the scoring midway through the first half and wrapped up the win with two goals in the last nine minutes, after Raul Jimenez had made it 2-0 nine minutes into the second half.

The results leave Club America just a point behind the Tijuana with one match to play - although Toluca are only a point behind in third with three games to play.
