Belletti signs with Brazilian club Ceara

Former Chelsea and Barcelona right back Juliano Belletti has agreed to play with lowly Brazilian club Ceara.
Ceara said Wednesday that Belletti will be joining the club from northeastern Brazil on a contract until the end of the year. The 34-year-old fullback made the move after being released by Brazilian champion Fluminense in March.
Ceara has been in the first division for the past two years but has not contended for the title. It reached the semifinals of the Brazilian Cup earlier this year.
Belletti scored Barcelona's winning goal when the Spanish club clinched the 2006 Champions League title. He was capped 25 times by Brazil and was a member of the squad that won the 2002 World Cup.
He didn't play much with Fluminense because of a series of injuries.
