Been targets Europa League spot
The Rotterdammers have spent much of the campaign battling relegation but three wins and two draws in their last five games have moved them into mid-table and within sight of the Europa League play-off spots. FC Utrecht currently hold eighth, which would be good enough to fight for a place in European football's second tier competition next year and Been, whose men are seven points adrift, believes they are now within reach if they can maintain their current form. He told AD Sportwereld: "Eighth place has come into view. "We will do all we can to achieve that this season as it is a prize catch." Feyenoord won 1-0 at Heerenveen at the weekend, a result which Been believes was crucial to maintaining their upward trajectory. He added: "Before the match against Heerenveen I said to my players 'if you want to achieve something this season, you must win in Friesland'. We have done that and now move on. "We are on the rise and on Sunday play against NAC Breda who we are close behind. "That should be motivation for the players but, of course, we should not get too carried away with winning at Heerenveen. "However, at our stadium and with our fans everything is possible. "After such a season if a prize came close we should go all out to achieve it. We have a final every week."
