Bayern Munich chief Guardiola dismisses Gotze's Juve link
Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports Mario Gotze could be on his way to Juventus, insisting the Germany international is very much part of his plans.
Speaking at a press conference in Shanghai, where Bayern are preparing for a friendly against Inter Milan, Guardiola denied suggestions that Gotze was on the verge of joining the Serie A champions and also gave short shrift to claims a deal had already been struck for Arturo Vidal to move in the opposite direction.
"Mario's got a contract here, he's my player and he's a great player too," Guardiola said.
"In my mind, he is going to be a Bayern Munich player all season.
"He's a top player, but I know that it's not only the coach who decides here. It depends on the club."
Bayern media officer Markus Horwick said the club had received "no offers" for Gotze, who was also due to take part in the press conference but was pulled out at the last minute.
As for Vidal, Guardiola simply said: "He's still a Juventus player."
