Batista to rely on Primera players vs. Paraguay

Argentina coach Sergio Batista announced 19 home-based players for a friendly against Paraguay on May 25 in the province of Chaco.
Injured Racing Club midfielder Claudio Yacob, who has captained the team in the past, was the only surprise omission on Thursday.
Argentina's foreign-based stars such as Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano were not considered for selection.
The squad contains four Boca Juniors players: Forwards Lucas Viatri and Pablo Mouche, midfielder Christian Chavez and defender Luciano Monzon.
Players from Argentine league leader Velez Sarsfield were also overlooked because of the team's involvement in the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores.
Paraguay coach Gerardo Martino also chose a squad of home-based players.
The match is a tune-up for the Copa America in July.
Argentina often fields teams with home-based players, particularly for friendlies in South America.
Batista also announced he will choose a squad of players aged under 25 and based in Europe for matches against Nigeria on June 1 and Poland four days later.
The alternative selections are designed to identify players ready to make the step up to the full squad alongside Messi and co.
