Defender Carles Puyol will miss Barcelona's game at Granada on Tuesday as a precaution due to a problem in his groin area.
Gerard Pique will also be out as the center back continues his recovery from a leg injury.
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola said on Monday that ''the doctors have told me that if (Puyol) is fine today he will be back tomorrow.''
The 33-year-old Puyol has been struggling with lower body injuries and has made limited appearances for the defending champion since last winter.
Barcelona is in third place in the Spanish league after drawing 0-0 with Sevilla.
