Barcelona defender Adriano will be sidelined for four weeks after injuring his leg in the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday.
Adriano tore a muscle in his right thigh in the final minutes of his team's 1-0 loss to Real Madrid.
The club says the Brazilian left back will miss the rest of the Spanish league season, but could return for the Champions League final if Barcelona knocks out Madrid in the semifinals.
His absence will put extra strain on Barcelona's already thin defensive line, which has lost Eric Abidal to cancer surgery.
