Gera has yet to feature for West Brom since making his return to the club from Fulham in the summer due to an ankle injury. The Hungarian is making good progress with his fitness, but Appleton admits they will ease the midfielder back into first contention slowly. "We'll take as much time as possible with him," Appleton told the club's official website. "The situation with him is that he can't do any contact stuff at the minute hence the reason why the head coach was reluctant for him to go away with Hungary. "Everything he's doing at the minute is non contact. "It will be a couple of weeks before he can come in and train properly like we want him to. "We hope to ease him back in over the next two weeks."
