Aston Villa v Blackpool preview
The Seasiders will be without defender Craig Cathcart against Villa. Cathcart has a sore knee and is undergoing a scan to establish the extent of the problem. Otherwise Seasiders boss Ian Holloway should be able to choose from the same squad as he did for Saturday's 2-2 draw with Everton. Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is fit to return for the clash after a five-week absence following groin surgery. Agbonlahor will be among the substitutes in a boost for manager Gerard Houllier, who still has John Carew (calf) and Emile Heskey (knee) sidelined. Midfielder Steve Sidwell is ruled out after it was decided to go ahead with the Achilles operation he postponed last month. Ciaran Clark could be poised for a run in midfield with acting skipper Nigel Reo-Coker joining fellow knee-injury victim and full-time captain Stiliyan Petrov on the injury list.
